Burnaby accounting firm looking for a full-time permanent Receptionist.
The ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term position.

Job duties include:
- Reception
- General Office Duties
- Accounts Receivable, Banking, etc.
- Filing

Skills Required:
- Warm, professional demeanor
- Exemplary command of the English language (previous proofreading experience an asset)
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple deadlines

The following skills would be an asset, but are not mandatory:
- Previous reception experience in an accounting firm
- Familiarity with financial statements
- Working knowledge of CaseWare Working Papers and ProFile software

As the frontdesk person, your responsibilities will include answering all calls and greeting incoming clients. Duties will include tracking office workflow, accounts receivable, preparation of correspondence, assisting accounting staff and office manager, filing and records management, proofreading documents, and ensuring the office runs smoothly.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years reception experience in an office environment. They must have a polished and professional manner, strong communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and be a self-starter we can count on to get things done.
